Position and person to whom almost all the powers of the board of directors are delegated, subject to the approval of a two-thirds majority of its members. Sometimes the name is incorrectly used by one or more sole administrators. In large companies, it is sometimes used to cover a level of the hierarchy, and then it is compatible with the position of “executive president” or “general manager.”
